Am I my brother’s keeper? Am I here for others? What is the purpose of my life? What is my responsibility? No one wants a keeper, a partner, a sibling, a friend, or a neighbor who chooses to ask this question, that’s for sure! We all want, need, someone to be our “person” as Grey’s Anatomy made famous. We need someone we can count on. We need be that someone that another counts on. We need to be the person who shows us, who goes the distance, who walks alongside, who carries the burden, who steps in, stands up, speaks out, speaks for, defends, helps, serves, and gives their life away for the other.
