Volunteer to play in the dirt!

Grace Garden has been a tremendous success!  Now we need people to come dig in the dirt with us!  Get outside, plant, compost, and work alongside your fellow Grace members! Through the summer months our gardeners sell their crops at a make shift farmers market inbetwee services every sunday. All leftover produce from our farmers markets are donated to the community.

Please come help those that have toiled so hard to bring this amazing garden to Grace.

Garden Offerings
Vegetables, Fruits, Herbs, & Honey, Oh My!

We plant every type of vegetable we can think of (including okra for Ama)! We have a bumper crop of strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. Herbs of every kind to flavor all of the meals!  Our crew even planted an orchard of over 30 fruit trees, a vinyard with 18+ grape vines of different varieties, and some hazelnut bushes. Every season we add and adjust each crop. What would a garden be without a few bee hives? There are 12 garden beds set aside for the community to rent and plant for themselves.

Join us as we feed our community with fresh, organic,  home-grown produce.

Our ongoing improvements
Special projects that have made the garden more plentiful
  • Installing a pergola that overlooks our garden and green space.
  • Creating a compost-drop off your compostable material.
  • Building rigid covers, floating covers, & cold frames to extend crop seasons into fall.
  • Making a huge new pumpkin patch for fall and Halloween.
  • New projects pop up each season! Stay tuned for news!
