I & Thou: We are not detached from God, the world, one another, or ourselves. Instead, our entire being is contingent. We are an expression of the very self of God - the ultimate Thou. You, O God! Look, it’s You! And it is only in that subjective relationship, rather than object (I/It relationship), that we truly discover who we are - the true I/me. As we discover God, we discover our true selves, and we begin to see ourselves from God’s perspective - not from high in the sky, but from the very heart of ourselves as we truly discover that God is in us!
