In 1 John, we don’t have to hold back anymore. We can be our authentic selves. We can be all in. We can be transparent and authentic. We can be integrated selves - whole and holy (sacred) selves. This allows us to see others in the same way. It calls us to give ourselves for the world. We must go all in.
