We are born of God, born from God... this is the ultimate feminine language of God... it’s the primary language of American Christianity in the 20the century, yet we continue to let the idea of God as male (or at least male only) to dominate our minds and souls. Following Jesus, believing Jesus, means trusting and holding onto the belief/faith images of Jesus - God as mother - God in labor.
