Faith is not only found in clarity and certainty. Sometimes we meet God most deeply in confusion, grief, and struggle, like Isaiah’s encounter with God in a moment of uncertainty after King Uzziah’s death in Isaiah 6. In those dark seasons we learn trust, resilience, and purpose and discover we are being prepared to bring light to others. The hard places do not mean God is absent; they often become the very places we notice God’s presence most clearly and find the courage to respond.
