Psalm 46  - “Be still and know that I am God” – a simple, yet profound invitation to make space for stillness and rest in God’s presence. In a world filled with noise and distraction, we are called to pause and surrender to God’s steady, unshakable love. This week’s sermon encourages us to create moments of stillness in our lives, and allow God’s peace to fill our hearts and minds. Psychologically, stillness invites us to release anxiety and control, and trust that we are held by a love that is constant. Theologically, this message calls us to make space for God to move in the quiet places, and empowers us to live with grace, courage, and purpose as we re-enter the world.
