Grace Presbyterian Church is on the hunt for an energetic, organized, creative team member to provide
program coordination for our intergenerational, family ministry and volunteer programs and move us
forward by providing up to date communications and data administration.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities


Intergenerational and Family Ministry Responsibilities
 Provide programmatic support and administrative coordination to ministry programs and events
 Working within the church and beyond the church extend ministry efforts, through programs,
developing materials and resources, partnerships with schools and organizations
 Under guidance of Minister of Spiritual Vibrancy, plan and organize a variety of intergenerational
worship services, events, workshops, and activities throughout the year
 Collaboration with Covenant Presbyterian, DTC Ministry Partnership


Volunteer Program Responsibilities
 Provide programmatic, administrative and statistical support and coordination to ministry
programs
 Working with church leadership, plan, organize, and coordinate church events including setup,
promotion, and follow-up
 Ensure all events have appropriate volunteer coverage, and that volunteers are equipped for their
roles
 Plan and organize volunteer appreciation events
 Assure compliance with all safety, security and liability policies


Data and Statistical Responsibilities
 Collect and maintain accurate and up-to-date data of church membership, attendance,
committees, and small groups
 Maintain the data of church management and membership apps and software, church databases
and directories, and maintain comprehensive lists of volunteers
 Analyze church data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, presenting regular reports to church
leadership, highlighting key statistics, trends, and areas for improvement
 Ensure that all data collected and stored adheres to data privacy and security regulations and
best practices
 Maintain the church calendar, scheduling events, meetings, and services, ensuring that church
calendar is accessible and up-to-date for all members
 Coordinate with staff and ministry leaders to avoid scheduling conflicts

Communications Responsibilities
 Create and send digital and print communications to congregation and ministry groups on a
regular basis for both grace and Covenant, as directed
 Encourage family/intergenerational programs and events and volunteer recruitment using email,
newsletters, social media, and the church website
 Other duties as assigned


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
 Strong organizational and time-management skills
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
 Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with social media platforms
 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 Flexibility to work Sundays and occasional evenings and weekends, as needed
 Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion


Education and/or Experience:
 A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
 Previous experience in a church or nonprofit administrative role is preferred
